Graduation!!

We finally graduated from BYU! I can't believe it came so fast! I'm so happy to be done with school but now I don't know what to do with myself. I have been cleaning and running around trying to be busy, haha. Graduation was really nice. We just wen to the Thursday commencement instead of both thursday and Friday graduation. On Thursday we first went to my dietetics special presentation which was really nice. We made a movie about our favorite moments in the dietetics program and the professors gave some speeches and read what each of us would be doing in the future. I really want to take the DTR (dietetic technician registered) exam and become certified instead of doing an internship. It would be too impossible with a baby to do an internship while Brandon is in Medical School. After the presentation we went to Brick Oven for lunch with my Dad, Mom, and Gram. I was really craving calzones! After that we got changed into our robes and went to the Marriot Center for the commencement. Elder Scott was the key note speaker and gave an excellent talk about keeping our character wherever we go and staying spiritually strong. Then we were graduated! It is still such a weird feeling.

End of semester, Baby Boy, Miami

It is the end of the semester and things have gotten crazy. I get to graduate on Thursday this week, I still can’t believe it! It is going to be the weirdest feeling ever to be completely done with school. My whole life has been school and now I finally get to move on with the rest of life. I probably won’t know what to do with myself when I don’t have to study anymore, haha.
Well the most exciting news ever this past week is that we found out we are going to have a baby boy! I am really excited. A little princess girl would have been fun to have but I think I will be a good boy mom too. I’m not too girly myself so hopefully I can be a good boy mom. My belly is just starting to poke out so until I saw the ultrasound it has been so hard to believe anything is growing in there. It is the first ultrasound I have been to that I remember so it was really cool to see the baby and his head and spine and heart and things. The technician was funny she said she was 100% sure it is a boy as evident by the picture, haha. We don’t really know what to name him right now. I really like the names Alec and Andrew (Andy) and Brandon really likes the names Dominick and Owen so now we have to decide which is really hard because that’s what his name will be for his entire life! We have to pick a good one.
We also get to move on May 12th to Miami which I can’t believe is coming so fast. I am excited but nervous at the same time. I am so bad at making friends and things so I am really worried I am going to be a loner when we get there. I am just going to have to make myself be really friendly and talk to everyone. It will be kind of hard too because the ward we will go to is a Spanish speaking ward and my Spanish is not exactly perfect right now. I took it for 6 years but I still can’t speak it very well. At least I understand everything but it’s hard to make friends with people when you can’t talk to them very well. I’m sure I will pick it up fast but it is still a little scary.  Miami is gorgeous though! I am so lucky I get to live there for at least the next 4 years.
