Evie can't stand sitting in the swing. She immediately sits up and try's to escape, haha.
 Escaping the swing!
Starting to be able to sit by herself!

Loving the mobile in Andrew's crib

This week has been really fun! I made a new friend with a lady who just moved here from Idaho. She has two boys so we go to the zoo and the pool together. Andrew loves playing with her 3 year old. And her boys love babies so they adore Evie and give her all their toys; it's pretty funny to watch. Evie has started to sit on her own but not for very long before she falls over. She is still not crawling but goes crazy on her tummy so it's got to be getting close.

Alphabet activities

J is for jump! Andrew loves jumping off of stuff and gets very proud of himself.
B is for Balloon. Andrew loved the water balloons i filled up for him. He threw them all over the house and somehow they did not pop!

B is for blocks. He likes having letters on the blocks. He tries to say them when I tell them what they are

B is for blow. Andrew likes blowing pom poms across the table. He is not very good at blowing yet but i help him out
B is for box. Andrew still likes putting the mail in his box
B is for book. We went and read books out on the grass by the boats.
C is for car. Andrew loves his new train ramp. After he is done with the trains on it all of his cars have to go down it too.
S is for shell. Andrew had fun putting shells into a cup of water and taking them out again.

M is for match

S is for Scat the Cat

s is for shapes. Andrew is getting pretty good at matching shapes now

After all the alphabet activities Andrew does seem to be trying to talk more. He can now say bubble very well. He also said blanket, apple, circle, blue, green, black, purple, and balloon.

Zoo, eating, playdough, 5 months old

Today we went to the zoo with a friend from the ward and her 2 boys. It was really fun! Andrew loved having some buddies to run around with. They have a big fountain for running and playing in so he had fun running around in there with the boys. Evie was content just hanging out in the stroller looking at stuff. She has not been napping so while Andrew was taking his nap we experimented with all sorts of things. I fed Evie some baby food pears. She did pretty good. Mostly she just likes to bite the spoon but she ate probably a tablespoon of food. She also loves to play with playdough. I made Andrew a couple batches of it but he won't touch the stuff still. Evie loved getting her hand squishing in it and eating it.

If you look close you can see her two bottom teeth
Andrew loves sticking the apples up on the tree! Even got him to say apple pretty well.
 Blanket rides together!

Froggy snack party. Don't have enough money to buy Andrew his own little table and chairs so I improvised and he loves it! Working on all the eating words (eat, snack, cup, bowl)
Finished quilt for those who didn't get to see it yet

o
This week has been a no sleep week. Evie's teeth must really be hurting her because she won't sleep! Nights have been really hard and nap time is almost non existent for her. I haven't seen any other teeth coming in yet besides the bottom 2 so hopefully they just pop out fast so we can get over this teething business. Evie bites me a lot too which is just really awful. Andrew has been really good though. He goes to sleep by himself now. I'm really trying to get him to talk better by doing all sorts of alphabet activities with him. Each week we do a different letter.
