Zoo, toddler bed

This week we decided to try out the zoo that is close by. It is a smaller zoo but it was so fun! Andrew had a really good time. He hated the peacocks roaming around though. They scared him so bad. He would cling to Grandma and shake every time he heard one. He really liked the tigers and turtles. They also have a big fountain in the front so next time we will bring his swimsuit so he can play in the water. Evie liked just hanging out in the stroller looking around. They did a good job with all the trees so there was enough shade for it not to be too hot. We bought a season pass so we will be going there a lot over the next year.
 We also got Andrew a toddler bed because he has been escaping his crib head first! He doesn't like to stay in his bed though. We didn't have a childproof doorknob at first so he would come out every 5 minutes and never go to sleep. We got a knob but he still doesn't go to sleep unless someone sits with him for 20 minutes until he falls asleep. Evie doesn't sleep much anymore either. She does a couple 30 minute cat naps in the day and that's it. She fights going to sleep so hard. She will not let you snuggle her anymore unless she is completely exhausted. Looks like she will be just as energetic as Andrew.
  Brandon's school has been pretty crazy already. He goes from about 6:30 to 5 at night every day and has to go in on the either Saturday or Sunday as well. So we won't get to see him very much over the next 12 weeks.

 1st day of 3rd year

 We went to a picnic for Brandon's class. We brought Evie to show off. All the girls wanted to hold her and play with her. She was the star of the picnic.

 Evie was determined to get that green ball, haha. She focuses so hard. She was able to grab it a few times too.

A day at the park

 Andrew loves to bring his toy cars and roll them down the slide. He likes to bring his stuffed animals too so they can go for a ride.

We had lots of fun at the park this morning! Evie had so much fun on the swing. She is such a smiley little girl. Andrew likes swinging by her too. His favorite game was to throw his car so I would pick it up for him while he was swinging. It is super hot even at 8 in the morning! At least there was some shade at the park for Evie to roll around on the blanket in.

Fathers day, 4 months old

Andrew didn't like the beach again for a while, but he really liked his snacks.

We went to the beach again this weekend. Andrew still didn't like it much. He really hates to be dirty and can't stand having any sand on him. He did eventually have fun throwing rocks in the water, just as long as his feet weren't covered in sand he was alright. 

  Today for Father's day we had yummy breakfast burritos for breakfast then went to sacrament meeting. Andrew is still not feeling all the way better so we just stayed for one meeting. For Sunday dinner we had a really good Salmon. Andrew took a 4 hour nap so Brandon and I got to relax for a little while. Brandon is such a wonderful Dad to little Andrew and Evie. They love to play with him. Evie loves to snuggle Brandon for hours! And Andrew loves to wrestle and be a wild man with him. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet husband :)
