Baby Girl!

Well we went in for an ultrasound today and found out we are having a baby girl! It was such a surprise! We thought for sure it was going to be a boy, haha. I am really excited. I haven't liked any of the boy names we have been looking at but I like lots of girl names so now it will be much easier to name the baby. Our house is going to get even more full of stuff, haha, Brandon is going to love that!

This week has been a tougher week. Brandon had a test on Wednesday so he was studying a lot this week and he already has another test next Friday :( Andrew and I have been exploring this week. He has so much fun walking everywhere. When I am out of things to do with him I take him down to the first floor of our complex and let him run around all over. We explored every main room in the building. He loves the mail room because there are people there to talk to, haha. He has started waving at everyone we pass! He loves the attention he gets from them when he waves. They all smile and talk to him so he has fun with that. I took Andrew to the sea aquarium this week. He had so much fun. He loved to watch the dolphins but not when they were jumping in the show. He got so scared when the dolphins jumped out of the water. He grabbed onto me as hard as he could and was shaking and crying. It was so weird. Yesterday we all got to go to Hollywood beach. Andrew loved playing in the water fountains they have. It rained on us after an hour though so we had to leave early but it was still fun. Today the power went out for the whole morning. It was so dark in our house. It has been rainy rainy rainy. Andrew is going crazy being inside all day!

The weather is finally getting a little less hot here so I have been able to take Andrew out to play. He loves outside! This morning we went to the playground and he had lots of fun wandering around. My mom discovered he can go down slides all by himself so we have been practicing that too. He really loved the metal spinning thing. He stands up on there and I spin him around and around. I can't believe he doesn't get too dizzy, but he sure loves it! He also has started to love being wet. It has rained quite a bit lately and he just wants to splash out on the balcony in it. The other day it was raining and he was begging me to go out on the balcony so I let him wander around in the rain. He thought it was so funny! I have had to change his clothes about 5 times a day though with all the new messy things he is into. So I have started letting him run around in his diaper; it's much easier to just change that.

 Andrew found a pit in the sand and sat and played in there forever! He loved to dig and throw sand everwhere.

 1st Haircut! Andrew's hair was getting way too long so I had my mom cut it. He looks so different with it short now!

Well it has been really nice to have my mom here for the past couple of weeks. I'm sad she has to leave tomorrow but am very grateful she could come out so quickly. Brandon and I are finally all recovered from our bad flu so that is good too. I still haven't been able to put any weight on but am able to eat better so hopefully that picks up soon. Andrew has pretty much stopped crawling and is walking everywhere now (more like running, haha). He loves to race around the house and go in circles. We gave him his first haircut too. He had so much hair! We cut off a lot. He looks pretty different with the short hair now, but still super cute :) I also had fun making my first wall hanging. I have got a serious case of nesting already and feel like I need to decorate and organize the whole house.
