Mess maker even in the keys

We had a very fun vacation in Islamorada with my family for Christmas. We stayed for about 8 days. The weather was beautiful. A few chilly days but mostly really sunny and warm. We all got sunburned. The beach house was nice and big so we all had plenty of room. It was pretty much on the water. The beach was too rocky for running in and out of but it was still really pretty. There was a nice beach/park just down the road so we spent a few days there on that beach. Andrew really loved playing in the water and splashing. This year for Christmas Andrew was able to open his gifts almost all by himself. It was fun to see his cute little smiles as he opened each one. Christmas is much more fun with a little guy. Brandon went fishing with my Dad and brother and caught some ocean fish. And we mostly just hung out and relaxed; it was really nice to get a way for a little bit. My ultrasound is on Wednesday so we should be able to see the baby pretty well this time. I am getting so ready to have her!

This past week Andrew and I went to the children's museum again and to the indoor playplace. He is getting really good at sitting and sliding down slides by himself now. He also started jumping on the trampoline. In the car he likes to dance to music too. He puts his hands up when a song with a good beat comes on, haha. Yesterday it was Vanilla ice (ice ice baby). Today Andrew is sick :( He was throwing up last night and has a really stuffy nose and a cough. Poor little guy. He also has some of his molars coming through the gums now. So he has had a rough few days. We watched movies today and were as relaxed as possible for Andrew. His favorite activity today was taking all the clothes out of my drawer and putting them in the laundry basket. He did that for about an hour. He also learned how to climb up on the toilet. He is such a monkey man!

30 weeks

 

30 Weeks :) Haven't taken many belly pictures this time around. My pants are making a funny line on my tummy but it's getting pretty big!

I went to the doctor today for my 30 week check up and everything is going great :) I have gained too much weight but besides that everything is good. I go in for another ultrasound on January 2nd so that will be fun to see our little girl again. I took Andrew to the doctor the other day too. He is doing alright, still a little low on the weight but the height is fine. I have been trying to find good sources of fat to give him since we haven't been doing whole milk, but he doesn't like avocados and I can't figure out what types of foods to put some oil or butter on that he will like. I did get some flaxseed to put in his shakes which is a good source of fat, so hopefully that works. The doctor was also worried he is speech delayed because he is not saying any words yet. He makes all sorts of animal noises. I like his horse neigh the best. Today he learned how to blow on a whistle which he thought was pretty awesome. Andrew also had so much fun playing in the sink with Grandpa that I let him do it here too. He sat in there for about an hour putting all sorts of different cups in the water and dumping them out and then turning on and off the sink a million times. It was a nice new activity for us.
