Grandma visit! D.C, springtime, Hershey park

We had a crazy, but fun trip out to D.C for the day with Grandma. The kids were wild but it was fun to be in a different place for the day. We saw the Abraham Lincoln memorial, the washington monument, and the capital building. Afterwards we went to the zoo! Busy day!

We got to a fun little gymnastics class on Wednesdays where they just let the kids play around on the floor. Andrew's favorite thing is to leap off tall stairs into the foam pit. He has no fear!

It was finally a nice day so we went to Hershey Park! The girls were soooo cute in their matching outfits; they got a lot of compliments.

haha our kids' photography skills :)

A nice lady gave us free tickets to the hershey story museum and hershey gardens so we went and had a fun afternoon there.
The kids love flying kites. It's been pretty windy but not quite good enough for getting the kites to go high. They don't mind though, they just run themselves out until they are so tired they want to go back in haha.

Made playdough creatures with candy eyeballs

D.C zoo is super big and fun. They loved the seals the best. The seal played with Andrew for a long time. He would put his fingers on the glass and the seal would bite them haha. They did it for 10 minutes!

Hershey, Waterpark

Spring time snow storm! Kids had fun digging in the snow. Good thing I kept their winter things out.
Got Andrew some fun little Avengers. Trying to get him to play more action figures though he will just always prefer I pad.
Made cute little dollhouse furniture out of blocks.
Got warm again and we spent a lot of time outside playing; even got out the kiddie pool!

Then cold and rainy again but we got our big coats on and went out to Hershey. Layla had so much fun being big on the rides.

Layla loves BBQ sauce
We got to do a fun family trip to Kalihari water park! Evie was brave and actually went on waterslides. It was pretty awesome!.

We got 50 free dollars in arcade games from our groupon so the kids had fun using up that.

Spring, Hersheypark

The kids have been really in to flowers since they learned flowers grow in the springtime. So we went and bought some fake flowers and I let them plant them in a pot. They watered their flowers for a long time haha. Then we cut up the flowers and brought them inside for a flower shop playtime. The kids had so much fun :)

Hersheypark opened up again for the weekends so we took full advantage. Evie grew just enough so she can go on the same rides as Andrew. She was so excited to try the new rides. Andrew got to go on a big roller coaster with Brandon so he was also very excited. We even took Layla on a splash mountain type ride and she actually had fun; I thought she would have been scared out of her mind at such a big drop!

I took the kids back for day 2 of hersheypark by myself. It was freezeing! About 45 or so with freezing wind but we still had fun for a couple hours. Layla is getting big! I let her try a few rides with Andrew by herself and she loved it!

March was a hard month being back! Brandon had to work a lot of 24 hour shifts to make up for our vacation week. It was pretty rough but we made it through. I've been going to a cross fit gym for about a month now and it has been so much fun! I feel like I am stronger than I have ever been and it is so fun! Every class pushes me and sometimes makes me want to throw up but i love being pushed over my limit and getting fit. The girls there are super impressive so I'm hoping I can work up to their level soon enough. I'm still working at Golds Gym in the childcare too and that is pretty great. The other ladies who work there are super nice so it's fun to be able to have some work friends. The kids still love going with me so that has been a great blessing :) My life is pretty much gyms and kids right now.
Layla is walking 99% of the time now which is so awesome. She just picked it up and has gotten the hang of it pretty quickly. It is hard to get cuter than her little waddle walk toddling through the house. She is so proud of herself too, haha. I haven't gotten a good video but I will work on it; it's just so cute! She loves pushing Evie's buttons too so we are going to have some trouble there. She runs to Evie's bed, where Evie keeps all her precious things, climbs up and grabs whatever she can get her hands on hides it behind her back and runs back to me with the biggest grin on her face while Evie screams. Just makes me laugh.
