 Andrew's new snow/mud boots

Well we made it to Utah without too much trouble. Andrew and Evie were really good on the plane; only had a few crying spells. Andrew loves being here at Grandmas house. He is in love with the dog of course and the cat and follows them around all day. The dog is super nice with him and they play together for hours. Andrew got to try playing in the snow today and thought it was fun. The snow is pretty icy so it is hard for him to do much with but he likes stomping in it and sledding. He also got to go for a four wheeler ride with grandma this morning. Andrew learned how to go down stairs now so all the stairs in the house aren't such a problem anymore which is awesome. He mostly likes just wandering up and down and running around the house  It has been a fun change of environment for him. He has been pretty good going to sleep too so that's nice since Evie has gotten worse. Evie is super sweet all day and loves to snuggle. She just hates to be put down so my arms are about ready to fall off by night time. She had her first bath with Andrew yesterday which was interesting haha. Andrew liked pouring the water on her and was very helpful. But she pooped in the tub and then we were all covered in poop and it was gross so we had to shower after that. She is still super grunty at night so it is hard to sleep at all. I tried putting her in bed with me and she seems to like that better so hopefully she starts calming down a little at night.

Andrew and Evie had lots of fun outside by the pool :) Andrew hasn't been able to go for a long time so he had a lot of fun; especially in the shower!

Andrew really liked playing with Evie today. He thought it was really funny when she would make squeaky sounds and he loved touching her head. He has been really good with her. He is very soft when he touches her. She is lucky to have such a sweet brother :) We went to the doctor yesterday and both kids are doing great. Evie already gained over her birth weight back so she is a very good eater. And Andrew has grown an inch since December and is doing great.

Evie

Baby Evelyn is here! She is the sweetest little girl. She is not fussy at all and loves to be held. The birth went really well. We went in at 8am for induction. I was at a 3.7 so they started me on the contraction meds. It took a while to get dilated but around 3 or 4 I felt her drop down and it only took 3 pushes to get her out. I didn't tear or anything :) She was 7lbs 7 ounces and 20 inches long. Not small at all! Just right. She has less hair than Andrew did but she looks really similar to him. She never got jaundiced or had any problems. I am feeling great. I didn't get swollen and hardly have any bleeding so I am recovering much quicker this time. Evie is a really good little eater as well. She latched right on and has been eating a lot. She is a good sleeper too and goes about 3-4 hours between feedings. We got to go home today and it has been super nice to be here. Andrew has been pretty good with the baby. He laughs and pokes at her a little and then ignores her so hopefully he can get used to her quickly. He feels so huge compared to her.
