4th of July cutie! Forgot her red shoes though!

 

We had a fun week of Brandon's family visiting. Everyone went home today so we are on our own again. Andrew went wandering around the house looking for everyone this morning and was pretty sad when nobody was here but me. We went to the park and the pool to take his mind off of it and had a good morning.We didn't do much for the 4th of July, we were too tired haha. Maybe next year we will take Andrew to see some fireworks. I did go fishing off the docks here at the apartment and caught a little fish so that was fun :) Evie got her first tooth already! Her mouth has been hurting her pretty bad but she hasn't been too cranky for teething. I'm pretty sure the second bottom one is coming in now too. She is going to have a whole mouthful soon and she is only 4 months!

Blessing

 

 

Brandon was able to give Evie her baby blessing yesterday :) We did it at the house again so that all the family could be there. Brandon's family came for the blessing and my mom was here too so that was really fun. It was a really sweet blessing. Evie is very loved by everyone :)
This week we also went to a fun park nearby that has a free water park section. Andrew had lots of fun in the water! We also tried a new restaurant called the old key lime house which was super good. Evie really likes to suck on lemons, haha.

Zoo, toddler bed

This week we decided to try out the zoo that is close by. It is a smaller zoo but it was so fun! Andrew had a really good time. He hated the peacocks roaming around though. They scared him so bad. He would cling to Grandma and shake every time he heard one. He really liked the tigers and turtles. They also have a big fountain in the front so next time we will bring his swimsuit so he can play in the water. Evie liked just hanging out in the stroller looking around. They did a good job with all the trees so there was enough shade for it not to be too hot. We bought a season pass so we will be going there a lot over the next year.
 We also got Andrew a toddler bed because he has been escaping his crib head first! He doesn't like to stay in his bed though. We didn't have a childproof doorknob at first so he would come out every 5 minutes and never go to sleep. We got a knob but he still doesn't go to sleep unless someone sits with him for 20 minutes until he falls asleep. Evie doesn't sleep much anymore either. She does a couple 30 minute cat naps in the day and that's it. She fights going to sleep so hard. She will not let you snuggle her anymore unless she is completely exhausted. Looks like she will be just as energetic as Andrew.
  Brandon's school has been pretty crazy already. He goes from about 6:30 to 5 at night every day and has to go in on the either Saturday or Sunday as well. So we won't get to see him very much over the next 12 weeks.

 We went to a picnic for Brandon's class. We brought Evie to show off. All the girls wanted to hold her and play with her. She was the star of the picnic.

 Evie was determined to get that green ball, haha. She focuses so hard. She was able to grab it a few times too.
