Evie is such a loud talker! haha. Her face turns red she talks so hard! Don't think we will have any talking issues with her.
Andrew loves to tease Evie now. He will put a toy just within her reach and when she tries to grab it he takes it away as fast as he can. He does it over and over and thinks he is hilarious. Poor Evie has to put up with a lot already!

Andrew's doctor appointment was fast yesterday. I took him in and the doctor came in and took one look pulled his skin back down there in about 1 minute. Andrew screamed and I was shocked he did it so fast, but at least it's over! It is pretty red and sore but other than that it doesn't seem to be bothering him too badly.
It has been so wet and rainy. I got a chance to run the kids to the park before it rained again so they finally got some outside air. They love to swing!

Well it has been a crazy couple of weeks again. Andrew had to go to the E.R again because he wasn't breathing well. The doctor there said he has asthma and that's why he keeps getting these breathing attacks. So we have been learning how to manage his asthma. Right now we do a nebulizer twice a day with medicine in it that he breathes in. It seems to be helping him, he is breathing a lot better now. So we just have to figure out what triggers the asthma attacks so we can be better prepared for it. Both the last attacks came on after he got a cold so I think a virus just set it off which you can't really prevent so we will see what happens next. Evie has been sick for a while too with a nasty cold and runny nose but she is finally starting to feel better too. Brandon's Dad drove down to help us while both the kids have been so sick which has been really nice to have another pair of hands. Having 2 sick kids is exhausting! I just took Andrew back to the doctor last night and now he also has to go see a pediatric urologist because some of his skin is regrowing where it shouldn't down there and got infected and they are going to have to pull it back. So we are going on Monday to do that. Poor guy just needs to get healthy!
Evie has started smacking her lips and making new funny noises. She just gets cuter by the day! I just took her to the doctor for shots. She is 17.5 pounds now. They said she is only on the 30th percentile for height and the 70th for weight, haha. She is just a cute little chunky girl.

Everybody was tired on a rainy Labor day monday so we watched Madagascar
Evie screams when you try to put her to nap in her crib but if I put her in our bed and sing 1 song she falls asleep right away. She loves the big soft bed.
Andrew tells me to put Evie in the jumper so he can jump with her. They are pretty funny!
I took the kids to Playmobile yesterday. It is a toy store that also has a play area for the kids to try out all the different play sets on tables. Andrew had a lot of fun. It was a little advanced for his age but they did have a train and a train track that he played with for 3 hours! It got a little painful to sit there for 3 hours but boy did he love the train track, haha. He wandered and played with the animals and different cars too but the trains were by far his favorite. We went with 2 other ladies from the ward and their kids. Andrew's new favorite person is a little 6 year old girl. She carried him around and showed him all the play things. He would run and give her hugs, it was so cute. He loves to play with older kids more than younger kids for some reason. i guess they are more fun because they can pick him up.

Andrew loves to play in the pop up crib tent. Evie loves it too. We spend a lot of time putting cars and balls in it and covering it with blankets so it is dark.

Brandon got labor day 3 day weekend! Saturday morning we took the kids to the beach. Andrew still hates it but Evie had a lot of fun. They are both still a little sick but hopefully the ocean cleared out some of the mucus. Evie has 2 ear infections so we have her on antibiotics now too. She seems to be doing a lot better.
Happy 4th Anniversary to us! Watched a movie and had yummy snacks :)

It has been a crazy couple of weeks! I am pretty exhausted. Brandon had to go to the E.R because his appendix was inflamed. They didn't do anything yet so we are just waiting to see if it gets better on its own or worse. So he hasn't been feeling very good lately. He finished his rotation at the hospital and is now doing a rotation in a clinic with an internal medicine doctor. He likes it better in the hospital becuase he got to have his own patients and in the clinic he mostly just shadows the doctor. But at least he gets weekends off for 4 weeks! Nice to finally be able to see him for a weekend!
Evie has been getting really cranky. I don't know if she is getting more teeth or what her deal is but she has been very high maintenance lately. She has developed a really loud shriek when she doesn't get what she wants. When Andrew takes her toys she gets furious at him! haha, they are already fighting. They do play together once in a while now though. Andrew likes to put his face by Evie's feet and thinks it's hilarious when she kicks her feet at him. Evie loves to play with Andrew; he makes her laugh a lot. But if Evie touches Andrew with her hands he gets really mad at her.
Andrew got sick again with a bad cold/congestion. He also has an ear infection. So he was sick for his birthday poor guy. We went to the zoo anyways for his birthday and he had a really good time. For some reason he gets super hyper when he is sick and won't sit down and just watch a show or anything so getting out of the house is a good thing for him when he is sick. Both kids haven't been sleeping at night at all. Brandon and I are up for most of the night with them. Andrew just wakes up and cries a lot in the night because he doesn't feel good. It is really tough when kids are sick!
Andrew's birthday was fun. I decorated the living room with all his train stuff so he got pretty excited when he walked out and saw it. Evie thought it was really awesome too! I wanted to do a lot more but i did not have the energy. But it was good enough. We got Andrew a basketball hoop, a Thomas movie, and a train, and my mom sent him a fun drill set. He loved the little train best of all and spent a long time driving it on his tracks. He was too sick to enjoy his cake but had a few finger licks of frosting. I was going to make a Thomas cake but didn't have the energy and he wouldn't have eaten it anyway so maybe next year I can do that for him.
I taught my first lesson in young women's today. It was on chastity. It went really well. I wasn't too awkward so that's good! I had written a whole lesson but then changed it last night because it was too much of me just talking and not enough questions. So I just wrote up a bunch of questions to discuss with the girls and showed a little video and brought some fun scrapbook pictures of our wedding and the girls opened up a lot and talked so it was great! Hopefully I can learn how to be a better teacher with this calling; I think it will be really good for me :)
