Everyone came back from the cruise. They had a great time! Andrew is very excited to have everyone here. He even stayed at the beach for over an hour having fun today.

Brandon wants to take Andrew fishing during the break. We went to a park and a guy was fishing and Andrew was fascinated so we are going to try it out

 

 We had gone to walmart to get a few food things for Christmas and walked down the car isle. Andrew had picked 3 cars out so we told him to choose one to keep. We handed him one and then he started counting saying 1 and grabbed the first one, then 2 and grabbed the next one and then 3 and grabbed the last one said thank you and stuck them in the cart, haha. I didn't know he could count 1,2,3 so well.

Great Quarry Climb! New ramps for his many trains. Evie can almost put the trains down the ramp herself, she has seen Andrew do it so many times she is getting the hang of it too; little smarty pants.

 

This was a common scene, haha. Evie attacking Andrew's new toys and Andrew getting very upset.

We had a crazy Christmas week. We all got really sick so we were just trying to survive. I got a sinus infection and Brandon got a super sore throat. Andrew and Evie both had bad colds and Andrew had an asthma attack on top of that, so we have been slowly recovering. At least they got new stuff to play with on Christmas so that helped entertain them all day long. Andrew loves his new geotrax; although he doesn't like to use it with the remote control, he just likes pushing it himself. Evie just likes to destroy everything Andrew is playing with ,haha.Overall a good day but exhausting from being so sick!

Galbraith visit

 Gram always brings candy necklaces for us when she comes. Evie was very happy with hers!

Today Evie and I got to go down to South beach to see my grandparents and Aunt Tamara before they left on their cruise. It was fun to go back and visit after being away for a while. Andrew had to stay home with Brandon because he is feeling pretty sick again; he would have had so much fun. Evie had a great time. She loved splashing in the little pool the girls dug out for her. She ate so much sand I couldn't believe it! She just kept shoveling it in and I couldn't get her to stop, haha.

I tried making my own background for photos; turned out ok for my first attempt. It needed more colors and less of the blue wrapping paper but I tried, haha. Not a professional, but Evie and Andrew are very good models. Brandon just finished his first week in the psychiatric hospital. He says it is interesting but would not want to work in that area. He misses being in a regular hospital. Andrew had a playdate with one of the boys in our ward this week who is his same age. They played really well together and I got a long great with his mom so that was fun. The other boy speaks english and spanish already so hopefully Andrew can pick something up from him. They only had one little incident. His mom had to give him a time out on the couch becuase he smacked Andrew once and he just kept looking at me saying "save me, save me", haha, it was kinda funny. Hopefully we can get them together more, Andrew really liked it.

Excited for Christmas

 Can't quite get a good Christmas picture. My camera cant take good pictures in the evening without the flash, but she still looks cute in her little dress. She sure hates it though because she can't move, haha.

This week Evie has started taking a few steps by herself! She is getting so big! We decorated for Christmas and got a little tree the kids were very excited about. Andrew really wanted to put the balls on it so I got some for him to put on. They ornaments are now almost all destroyed haha, Evie loves to pull them off the tree. Brandon is finally done with his surgery rotation so now he moves on to psychology which is supposed to have a lot better hours and he gets weekends so that will be nice!
