Andrew loves putting the little counter chips into a bucket with a slot on top. He sat and did this for at least 30 minutes. They are really small though so I have to watch him carefully so he doesn't put them in his mouth. I couldn't find any of the big poker chips.
We did an indoor tent day. I piled up books and different activities for Andrew to do in the tent. He just likes snuggling on the blankets and looking out the windows.
Another slot activity. I like this one better because he can't choke on bag clips.
Oatmeal mess time. I hide little toy bugs in the oatmeal and Andrew likes to dig them out with a spoon.
Wooden shape sorter we got with Nanna's Christmas money. He can't quite do the squares or triangles but the circles work well.
I got sticky contact paper and we made a collage from my cooking magazine
Andrew built this tower all by himself. I couldn't believe how high he got it! For his development milestone he is supposed to be able to stack 3 so he is doing really good at that one! I don't have any real blocks so we are using the thanksgiving decoration blocks but they work :)
Andrew was more interested in the sliding eraser than drawing on the magnetic board.
Andrew's favorite new game is magnetic fishing. The puzzle has fish with magnets on top so he can fish them off. He is really good at it! Though he likes to fling around the fishing rod which can be dangerous at high speeds.
Andrew is getting better at coloring and not eating the crayons. I still have to take them away sometimes but for the most part he is pretty good about it.
I tape the paper to the kitchen floor for coloring and waterpainting. The painting is messy but he really likes it.

Love the pictures. indoor playgrounds!
