Chicken Tikka Masala- Yummy Indian food recipe I just made and loved!
Ingredients:
3-4 T vegetable oil
2 tsp Garam Masala
2 tsp cumin
1tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ginger
sprinkle of coriander
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts- cut into cubes
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves, garlic
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 bay leaf
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 Tbs cornstarch
Top with parsley if desired
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in fry pan. Add spices, onion, chicken, and garlic; stir and simmer for a few minutes.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the yogurt and crushed tomatoes.
3. Place into crock pot and add bay leaf. Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.
4. When done, stir together heavy cream and corn starch and pour into crockpot. Stir and cook 20 more minutes to thicken up.
5. Serve with basmati rice

Nice recipe, Daniella! It’s nice that you appreciate a very classic Indian dish. Chicken tikka masala is no new dish to those familiar with Indian Cuisine, but to newbies it would definitely take your tongue in a wild ride of flavors. Haha! Thanks for sharing your recipe! All the best! :D
