The apple counting tree. Each apple had a number on it and Andrew counted the right number of apples into each little cup. He did great! He really loved it.
Next we read two books about apples. Andrew learned about the different colors apples can be and how they grow. He also learned that when you cut an apple open there are seeds inside so he was really excited to try it. We cut apples and took out the seeds and then he did apple stamping. The stamping was a little too messy for his taste but he still liked it.
I bought a fun alphabet puzzle so Andrew can start learning uppercase and lowercase. He knows all the uppercase pretty well but the lowercase is confusing so it was a good activity. I tried just focusing on A and a few others but he was so excited he just wanted to do them all.
After we sang 10 little apples to the tune of ten little Indians. He loved it. And that was all we did. He had a really good time and it was great one on one time with mommy while Evie was sleeping.
