First week of residency

Found a box the previous owner left that is huge! It is also super strong so it served as a great slide off the picnic table. Kids had a lot of fun!

The slide also made a great tunnel!

Andrew just loves any character he can meet. We saw hershey kiss today. Evie actually went up and said hi too.
Evie got a new Steelers cheerleader outfit; she loves getting new clothes haha.

Layla's old swing broke so she got spoiled and got to get a princess swing.
We had a fun tea party outside. Tea parties are Evie's favorite. She loves sunflower seeds in the tea cups. Andrew was sleeping way too long from a nap so I brought him outside and he still slept on the blanket haha. He has stopped napping except for random days once in a while so that has been a tough transition. He gets really hyper and crazy the more tired he gets throughout the day and loves to drive Evie crazy by taking her things.

Layla is just the happiest little baby
Andrew got tired of us and went to sleep on the cement, haha
We found a great new park with a huge metal slide the kids loved!
Kids got spoiled and got to ride the little dinky rides at the store. Also won one of the little minions from despicable me from the claw machine. The kids love those minion things.

For the 4th of July we went to a concert at the hershey hospital where Brandon works. They do a free symphony concert with free ice cream! The kids had a lot of fun though they didn't sit and listen much just ran around like crazy guys.

Layla is big enough for the jumper now. She has the cutest little face and expressions. Just a sweet little thing.

We made it through the first full week of Brandon's new work schedule. He goes in at 5 am and gets home around 7:30pm so it's a really long day for both of us. I've had a hard time trying to get used to it so last week was rough. The kids started fighting over everything and with Andrew not napping he gets so crazy! So I have been exhausted. But hopefully every body can get used the new routine and things settle down a little.
There is a cool group here called PIM (partners in medicine) where spouse's of the residents get together and do fun things. It starts this upcoming week so I'm going to sign up and be a part of that. Hopefully that helps us make a few more friends! I've been pretty discouraged trying to make new friends so far but hopefully this group helps. I am just so awkward at first and never have enough to say! Small talk is not my thing haha. Oh well I can only keep trying. I got a calling in young women's to help the girls with their teaching every week. There are only 6 girls in the whole young women's so it's not too stressful which is nice. They are really great girls :)
