This weekend Brandon and I got to hang out at the pool :) Such a hard life we have, haha. Brandon has been really busy with school and a bunch of projects he has to work on so being able to take a break and relax at the pool is a really nice thing for him. I've tried helping him with his papers but we think so differently it probably ends up more work for him in the end. I wish I could help him out more because he is just so stressed out with the workload.
I got to go to the beach yesterday with some ladies in our ward and some of their other friends from different wards so that was fun :) I met a really nice lady named Carol who just moved here with her husband from Utah. She has little twin girls that are so cute, but I can't imagine how hard it is to have twins as your first babies. I'm so glad I am only having one!
Brandon also had to give a talk on Sunday which was kind of crazy. Our neighbors have been having some big car problems and during sacrament meeting they came and got us so we could help jump their car which kept dying in the middle of the road. So we jumped the car and followed them back to the apartment to make sure they made it and then raced back to the church for Brandon's talk. They had to stall for him for a minute but the second we got back Brandon had to just walk up front and give a short version of his talk. He did great as always when he speaks :) I'm sure the bishop was glad we came back in time too so he didn't have to keep stalling, haha.
I signed up for my DTR test too and will be taking that August 1st. I have a couple more weeks to cram all the knowledge I can in my head and then I'm just going to take it. Ever since getting pregnant I can't seem to remember things as well, haha, so I have had to study a lot harder. But hopefully all goes well with that and I can get it over with the first try.
