Andrew was so excited to wear his pirate costume this morning! He wore it all morning and afternoon!
I had a lot of fun decorating. I just am not good at keeping things simple, haha. My favorite were the banana pirate boats. But of coarse the kids don't care or even eat anything but cake so it was just decoration except for the few kids who actually wanted food.
I dressed up as close to a pirate as I could too. Evie thought it was hilarious.
The treasure hunt was pretty fun! Andrew wasn't as in to it as I thought he would be but a few of the girls were really excited about it. Andrew just showed them around the house so they could find the clues.
The kids loved the treasure. I had a box decorated like a chest with ring pops, gold chocolate nuggets, suckers, etc. And I filled my jewelry box with necklaces and coins and bracelets.
Andrew stayed behind to fill his sack to the top, haha.
The kids loved jumping together
I made a pirate ship cupcake cake! I made way too many cupcakes but everybody got to have 2 or more.
House decorating was fun. I cut up a ton of little dashes and X's to put on the walls. Andrew really liked the treasure map walls.
We played a game where the kids drop a coin into a bucket of water with a glass in it. The kids had fun getting their coins in the glass. Most just sat right by the bucket and dropped them in but it was good.
I didn't have the kids bring any presents but we let Andrew open one fun game from Nanna. Twister was fun with everybody. We had a ton of kids but they liked stretching and playing.
Andrew loves his little girl friend Ruby. They are so cute watching the pirate show together. The kids thought that was pretty neat to watch on the big screen.
The party was fun and everyone I invited came so that was great! We had about 8 kids and a few moms who stayed with their other kids too. It was a little crazy but Andrew really liked having so many friends at once.

Andrew's pirate birthday party looks so adorable. I loved watching the happy faces of kids in this bash. Even my sister hosted a wonderful DIY wonderland inspired party at one of the local event locations for her daughter. The little girl was extremely happy to have such stunning party.
